While sitting in the barbershop, a young man told me that Christians are not suppose to where crosses. He referenced the Ten Commandments,  specifically, the second one. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Walking into a bible bookstore to find a bible, you'll quickly see that there are multiple translation to pick from. Why are there so many translations? Is one better than the other? Do they say different things. Has the bible been tampered with or been corrupted?
